For years we at MortgageTrap.org have
witnessed unethical, unscrupulous and downright fraudulent actions of
some in the mortgage industry.
The past few years of low rates have just
intensified these problems with many uneducated individuals throwing
their hats into the mix with the thoughts of "getting rich quick"...at
your expense.
After watching the unethical become
wealthy
while in the process withholding information, lying and scheming the
consumers they were supposed to be assisting, we decided to collectively
construct this site and bring along with us loan officers and brokers
throughout the country that are just as disgusted by the negative turn
the mortgage industry has taken in the past few years.
With our experience and the knowledge of the
Residential Mortgage Advocates™ listed
on this site, we plan educating the public to effectuate change while
joining together with brokers who want to see the industry's reputation
restored!
MortgageTrap.org and the RMA™ program was founded and is managed by:
a
▬ Charles Abrams,
retired loan originator (loan officer) having 25 years in retail
mortgage loans and 15 years in residential home sales;
▬ Julie Hilger, a 15
year veteran of mortgage processing and underwriting, having worked for
some of the largest companies in the country including Chase Manhattan
and PMI Mortgage Insurance Group;
▬ Robert Mackenzie, now
retired, worked for over 30 years in the servicing division of several
top mortgage wholesale lenders;
▬ Michael Rowe, having
worked for 20 years in wholesale in varying capacities, from
underwriting to B2B sales to brokers.
We have incorporated realtors
as they can play an integral part to the home buying process. We
too often hear complaints about real estate agents that tend to 'steer'
their clients to a particular area, lender or even a particular house!
We encourage all real estate agents that want to clean up their industry
to join us, and become a RMA!
